Verify Through SEI
Employment & Eligibility Verification Required
To apply for assistance, you must first verify your employment and eligibility through SEI (State Employees Inc.), which confirms your status as an essential worker, veteran, or public service professional. This verification step ensures fair, accountable distribution of FAS assistance funds and protects program integrity.

Complete 4 Required Financial Literacy Courses
All applicants must complete 4 financial literacy courses through our trusted partner platform before the application form unlocks. Courses are free, practical, and designed for essential workers and veterans.

Course 4: Emergency Planning
Upload Your Course Completion Certificates
After completing all 4 courses, you will receive a completion certificate from affordtoday.com. Upload all 4 certificates through your FAS Client Portal to unlock the application form.

Complete the Application Form
Once your certificates are verified, your application form will unlock in the FAS Client Portal. The form includes personal information, employment verification, hardship description, and document uploads.
